      Pros

      TEAM STEPPS, patient centered care, great teamwork, excellent communication, employee activities committee organizes activities outside of the workplace with co-workers, friends, and family, great community relations, excellent care

      Cons

      not yet fully electronic, but transitioning. i don't have any other cons to mention. As a nurse attendant that assists my patients with their ADLs, those shampoo caps would make some of them happy campers.

      -Very good benefits including vacation -Competitve salary (unusual for nonprofits) -Financially stable (unusual for hospitals and nonprofits) -Large enough to move around if you want or need a change -Many truly dedicated people

      -Opaque -Cumbersome -Kool-Aid drinkers get fast-tracked -Heavy competition and politics -Work/life differs by hospitals and sections

      Fun times at north-shore

      Pros

      Great benefits, decent hours, and my coworkers were all fun to work with. Learned a decent amount of lab procedures that can help me out down the line.

      Cons

      Strict regulations, tedious work, with little to no outside recognition. Once you're gone from the system, you're gone. Long probation period.
