Pros

- lots of growth opportunities - lots of locations and flexible work schedules - great benefits (non-union) - good coworkers - meaningful work everyday

Cons

- everything depends on your leader; if you have a bad leader you will go no where and be miserable and if you have a great leader you will have an amazing time working here - HR is awful in every aspect; recruiting, team member issues, discipline, organizational restructuring, onboarding new sites, professional development

Pros

EVS workers make decent money hourly compared to other custodial gigs. I would say the work is also relatively easy and there is room to move up within Northwell once you get your foot in the door.

Cons

Very difficult to get time off approved and the benefits aren't great. They also go out of their way to crush any effort to unionize and will make your life hell if you try. Typical evil healthcare company.
