Thank you for your review. All feedback is important to us, which is why we share it internally. At Northwell, we’re always looking for ways to provide a good work/life balance and to stay competitive as we offer a wide range of benefits that support our team members. Benefits include retirement contributions, family planning programs, discounted gym memberships, among others. We highly value our nursing team, consisting of more than 22,000 dedicated RNs. We encourage you to address your specific concerns with your direct manager and/or HR representative.

Pros

Not many these days. There is a lot of networking opportunities

Cons

There’s continued pressure to pack providers schedules with more and more patients and add more patient hours but we’re not given the tools or team to match the workload. It’s causing burnt out employees and providers leading to a more negative environment. Middle management ends up being the scapegoat for upper leadership’s demands while given no support, instead being told “make it work” over and over. I used to be proud to work for Northwell, but the continued threats of staff cuts and budget issues is making it miserable.
