Pros

Comprehensive 2-week training They offer the usual benefits and forms of professional support you could expect from other ABA agencies

Cons

inconsistent application of company policies Unprofessional communication, I was texted important requests when the more reliable and professional way to reach me was clearly email, especially considering that they give out company emails. Disrespectful upper management, everyone pretends their job is the hardest while demanding performance that meets arbitrary standards that have nothing to do with the well-being of children.

Toxic Work Environment

Pros

Flexible work hours. Rewarding outcomes for some clients.

Cons

Management requires lots of improvement in receiving feedback. -Very poor professional development program. Their practicum program is a SCAM. Might take forever to build a caseload for BCBAs. You might end up having to work directly as the BT for your clients with lower pay for almost indefinite dates. No opportunity to grow. - The company has zero culture. No opportunity to get to know your coworkers outside of work. - Admins ignore conflicts in the workplace. - Meetings are often scheduled during lunchtime, or in late evenings. - Some non-billable hours are paid at minimum wage.

Thank you for your feedback. We have made numerous improvements for better company culture. Northwest ABA provides 2 full weeks of training before any employee starts to work with clients. Employees go through rigorous training, for example our comprehensive practicum program, and will be paid a salary when they are promoted to be Clinical Supervisors. The company’s social committee hosts company events and promotes positive culture. Please reach out to us for further feedback.
