Pros

Generally great therapists and support staff to work with. Excellent free continuing education opportunities. They do a good job in the professional development support department

Cons

Pay is average at best and I wouldn’t count on any substantial yearly raises. Management focuses too much on their bottom line and not enough on taking care of their therapists so that they then feel valued enough to care about the companies bottom line. A LOT of corporate jargon and fluff words are thrown about when in reality, over time, it is shown what is really valued ($$$)

Relatively flexible schedule and ability to specialize as long as you are motivated enough to grow your caseload Good benefits and PTO Great coworkers and overall work environment Overall pleased with my work/life balance

Cons

Cons are all related to being at a large rehab company that ultimately values productivity and money coming in, so depending on your manager, it can feel a little micromanaged Space, equipment and technology slightly behind the times Pay is relatively low based for an outpatient PT position
