      only hospital in an one hour radius. They do employee the majority of people who live in the area.

      only hospital in an one hour radius. they know there is no other employee around and pay very minimal rates.

      Pros

      It is the only hospital in town and also owns most of the doctor's offices. Good insurance.

      Cons

      Too many to list. Low pay, Under staffed, no respect for employees. Sacrifices on patient care in the name of cost.

      Pros

      Benefits and pay comparable to similar organizations. Cafeteria food is very good and parking is good. Middle management used to be very cohesive and work hard to maintain their positions. Employees do care about their patients.

      Cons

      Senior leadership at Novant change positions (upward) regularly and assign favorites to positions that they are not qualified for. A lot of bureaucracy and competitiveness. Many recent layoffs and a lot of turnover.
