      Pros

      Good benefits. Offers day care but the hours only work for day shift employees. Hires new grads.

      Cons

      High turn over. Too much politics. Management sucks. Area sees a large amount of heroin/ substance abuse. Terrible company moral. Shift diff and base pay are lower than other hospitals but they get away with it because they are the only hospital in wilmington .

      Pros

      My immediate coworkers were excellent and I enjoyed working closely with the PAs/NPs in my office. ER staff not always the best to work with because they did not want to have a behavioral health patient "taking up their beds."

      Upper management is clueless on what is best practice in our field, there are ways to work within the medical model and still give the best care for behavioral health population
