Pros

Recruiter was friendly enough and likely just following the hiring manager's instructions.

Cons

Took me through 2 rounds of interviews over the course of a month only to hire someone 2 levels below me (at least 4 years below me in experience) from my current company at the time. The hiring manager evidently did not have a clear idea of the kind of profile they wanted for the role and wasted my time. (European HQ, corporate role)
