NuVision Federal Credit Union is very reactive versus proactive in every single area. There is no sense of urgency in resolving problems or challenges either. Ultimately, Member Service is effected. There is inconsistency from branch to branch, whether policy/procedure or service in general. Further, the main focus and support is provided to the corporate office. The problem with this is basically the goals are the same from branch to branch, so it is not fair. The individual branches are not studied or analyzed as to the demographics, location, size, in order to assign proper goals branch to branch. This results in unfair "rewarding" to employees, lack of recognition to deserved employees, morale issues, lack of teamwork, lack of motivation, and the list goes on. My impression is the Leadership Team lacks experience and doesn't seem thoroughly qualified in many areas. The Management Team seems frustrated and the result is a "survival" attitude. A "get through the day" attitude. There is a lack of fire across the board, starting at the top. It is inevitable it will filter down and throughout the company. No clear direction, leadership and structure is provided in achieving the goal that is preached…"Member Centricity". The company fails to move in one clear direction. Personally, I found working for NuVision extremely frustrating. I value stellar service, teamwork, respect, collaboration, fairness, consistency, accuracy, communication, core values..etc etc. I found it difficult to be at peace here. "Caring" is sorely lacking. The desire or even practice of performing above the call of duty was never recognized or appreciated. In fact, it would be fair to say it was almost impossible and not within your control. You can only do and be the best you can under the circumstances and lack of support.
