      Pros

      No useless rules and empowerment is key. If you don't want to take charge and make decisions this isn't the place for you!

      Cons

      Pay is lower when economy is down since a large portion of pay is based upon bonus.

      Pros

      The pay is excellent! You have a lot of control of your future at Nucor. You can come up with ideas and try them. If it works great, if not there is no penalty, just try something else to make an improvement. Great team atmosphere! When the company does well everyone does well, when the company goes through bad times we all go through bad times.

      Cons

      The hours can be long and tough, but it is worth it. The work environment can be hot and dirty.
