Merger Pains

Pros

Colleagues are great - super smart and responsive, passionate about the industry. Lots of great people in middle management. On the panel side, an amazing product that is truly changing an industry.

Cons

Processes that were implemented during acquisition and growth are clunky, tons of red tape, and the feeling that PE owner cares most about future IPO

Glad you are liking the people and could not agree more on the industry changing impact of the panel. Re IPO, that's an unlikely outcome. In fact, any ownership change is likely several years out. Our owners (Vista Equity Partners) are all-in on growing the biz and are not looking to get out any time soon. Thx, Dennis

Pros

Able to work on projects that impact change for our clients. Great benefits, work environment, perks. Smart co-workers.

Cons

People need to be flexible. We are evolving as we grow. For example, learning the new G-Suite right now.

Thanks for posting the review and glad you are liking it. I'm especially glad to see you call out the impact we have on clients. We exist to help our clients understand consumers and understand their markets. Its an honor to serve great companies like P&G, Unilever, Coke, Target, Walmart and so many others. Its great to hear that you see the chance to impact those clients through your work! Thx, Dennis

Pros

- Remote forward company with people who sincerely try to help one another. - Decent home office stipend monthly. - A large company that still fosters a bit of a start-up attitude. - Exciting work most days.

Cons

- Little or no upward mobility. - A culture of resentment, triangulation, and retaliation is pervasive. Management will smile and lie to your face at the same time. Don't trust any director who is "the sweetest person you'll ever meet". - Training is not available, so be prepared to learn on your own. - Expensive health insurance. - Low pay relative to competitors. - AI may replace you (but they are upfront about this). - Lip service is given to diversity initiatives, but aside from Slack channels where folks can commiserate, there are no actual benefits (tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance, etc.) tied to those initiatives.
