Pros

Great engineering culture inside the company. Dev and QA work very closely. Even if very senior engineer in the team are very approachable. It is a culture to just go and ask. Although as a new engineer here, I never get one email or one question without reply. You can seriously see yourself rapidly grow.

Cons

Hopefully we can keep this culture. Need to be cautious not growing big and become political.

Pros

Self motivated individuals in all departments. Intelligent employees in engineering and especially in solutions and executive roles. No fear of expanding the product in scope. Meaningful interest in the well being of employees beyond just giving them a networked step counter. Close attention to doing things right the first time. Responsible tolerance of errors and experiments to promote progress and enforce quality.

Cons

Enthusiasm sometimes results in people choosing to work longer hours than maybe they should. Not as effective at recruiting versus more capitalized startups in the Bay Area.

Nutanix is an incredible, fast paced company to work for. Working with the brightest minds in the industry is amazing. Every single person, from the Dheeraj to engineering, is approachable and more than happy to help each other.

Cons

I can't think of any cons off the top of my head.
