Decent Company with low wages and Irritating Clients

Pros

Nuvodia has a good work culture with understanding management and leadership. The new office is furnished with all of the expected perks of working in tech, plus a volleyball court

Cons

Nuvodia's IT clients walk all over them. Clients have inadequate infrastructure for their environments, often purchase their own end user equipment without notice, and do not properly train their employees on how to use equipment. Nuvodia often ends up attempting to clean up these messes, and the lowest level Help Desk people bear the brunt of customer frustrations.

Pros

Coworkers were enjoyable and nice enough. Pay for the position is in line with other companies in the Spokane area, though you can still make a lot more working remotely now.

Cons

Really bad communication in general. Unrealistic expectations based off leadership not having any engineering experience. Leadership does pretend to listen, however, they never fix any of the issues, like incredibly poorly written statements of work. I personally was told I was doing great then was fired for helping out with some work that was outside my job description. I would avoid this place in the future, happy to have moved on to another job and no longer deal with this place. Also expect no work life balance, if you want to even try getting all the stuff done you need to put in 60 hour work weeks.
