Pros

There is a lot of support available; if you reach out asking for help there is definitely someone who will provide guidance. They also recently started community forums which is a cool way to connect with other therapists and hear new ideas. There's flexibility in scheduling as with most contract companies. Every placement I've had with them I've loved. They provide access to medbridge (CEUs) and a stipend for materials.

Cons

It's a contract company - the cons are that you are ultimately a body that will fill a role so that they will get paid. I do think they make a slight effort to make employees feel like they do care, but in the end they're going to do what's best for them. If you know this going in and don't delude yourself, it's a decent company to work for, especially for new grads (or people who married rich and can afford to take advantage of the flexibility that contracting offers).

Size of company has personal touch to meet needs of employees and patients. Team open to improvements and ideas. Supports employees at their locations. Variety of locations and clinician experiences has lots of room for individual clinical growth and education. Lovely christmas parties.

Only in the Phiadelphia area.

Pros

Nyman is a growing company who still supports your every need. When I was hired, they were solely an SLP-based company, which was nice having a small tight-knit culture. However, I love the growth that I have seen such as now having OTs, PTs, etc. They have managers per each doman (e.g., school-based vs. EI), so you know who you need to speak to! I love how managers cater to your need and really listen to what you have to say.

Cons

No Cons. Everyone is supportive and responsive.
