Laid back atmosphere and great management
Pros
There has not been one day that I have dreaded going into work, unlike most jobs I’ve held. Everyone is friendly with each other and supports each other. While most of the work is individual, there is not one co-worker who wouldn’t jump in to help their team. The management has a truly open-door policy and constantly sends out emails checking in on everyone to make sure everything is going smoothly for them. Management truly cares about each employee and wants to make sure we are happy. Management is always open to new ideas or constructive criticism. At least once a month, the partners buy us all lunch and we all get to take a break away from the work day to celebrate birthdays or holidays. We even traded Valentine’s Day cards this year! Morale is very important to the managing partners!
Cons
The work can be stressful, but that’s just the job; nothing Nyman Turkish does or doesn’t do. Great co-workers and a great management support system definitely help ease the stress.
