Pros

Good company as a whole, well looked after with good pay rate and bonus scheme. Pension scheme not too bad and life insurance is pretty good.

Cons

American ownership! Management is poor and very limited progression and training available.

There is a lot of pressure for results, but that is not a bad thing if you know how to handle it.

Pros

O-I is the global leader in glass container manufacturing, making it one of the Fortune 500 companies. That being said, it offers a variety of career opportunities across a wide spectrum of industry fields.

Cons

Communication across departments is deficient. It is a larger corporation and it should have a more thorough communication approach, especially with locations outside of the US. I worked in a department that was very chaotic, not well managed and where communication was very poor. There was not a work system/logic applied for performance expectations.
