Less than poor management at every level. Employees control everything, not management. Literally more than half of employees are related in some manor. The better you are at the job the less others will do ( and then They brag about it)No sense of competition or pride in the jobs performed. “ not my job” might as well be the company slogan. The place looks like an abandoned state prison from the road. 100’s of thousands if not millions are needed to get vital equipment to a level where it can even be maintained reliably, all repairs are scab work, nothing truly gets repaired well, always right now right now. with no moves to really make the changes needed. Yet management acts like the place was built 2 years ago. The union is COMPLETE nonsense, they get no results and only seem to save useless people who honestly don’t deserve a job that pays so well. FMLA abuse to the moon. Starting pay is around $22hr for entry level floor jobs. maintenance only makes about $11hr more for TERIBBLE working conditions most of the time, indoors or out regardless of weather. and we are literally watching the facility crumble while management stares into the distance and nods. Can’t really work on anything to make it better because you have to babysit unqualified operators and maintenance journeyman to get anything accomplished ( and they make the same pay rate as you while riding your coattail) I am activity looking to leave and willing to take a pay cut to find a better run company. New safety guy has been there over a year and to my knowledge NOONE has ever been written up for A safety violation ( impossible) and they are blatant and occur all day long, literally could fire people on the spot daily. No way this location can stay in production with how it is managed. Management can’t manage because they are in 7+ meetings a day and they still dont know what’s actually going on. I could go in for days. Poorly run. From corporate or local.
