Pros

Medical and dental benefits are decent. As long as you are part time asking time off is easy and management is usually accommodating. Automotive knowledge among fellow employees is the best in the business. Slight tardiness is widely tolerated.

Cons

If you work on the retail side of Oreillys expect to work every single weedend of your life unless you are the manager or you ask of with plenty of advance notice. Expect to work nights the majority of the time. Pay is sub par for the amount of information you are expected to know. Expect to deal with a moderate amount of disgruntled customers. Frivolous warranty claims are a daily occurance.

Pros

It's quite easy to get promoted to store manager. Depending on your area, if you have a good location and a team, the work is quite easy. It's very important to have a good relationship with your district manager, it will make your life easier.

Cons

The chances of getting promoted from the store manager level is very minimal. Neither HR nor upper level management help you to move on other positions. It's quite common for store managers to be in that position for a long time, hence the reason they look depressed and unaccomplished.
