Pros

Benefits package is great. Management seems to take an interest in employees growth. The IT departments are broken down into specific and logical groups that are excellent at their jobs. Folks seem to really enjoy working here overall.

Cons

At times communication between product working groups is lax. While many folks take ownership there are times when there is no clear ownership of support issues reported by customers. At the moment there are allot of product changes in progress. Some of the projects are mash-ups of pre-existing products without proper integration design. This leads to a high number of support calls and difficulty in understanding the complete make up of the project sold to the customer.

Pros

For the most part, employees are all very professional, helpful and smart. Though the organization has been around for a while it still feels like an individual can come in and make a difference to the organization--they are not drowning in layers of bureaucracy.

Cons

Managers do not give much attention to career advancement or professional growth of employees. It's difficult to work in a vacuum and get only minimal feedback during an annual review. Many managers were great at managing tasks or projects but not people.
