stability, for better or worse

Pros

Very stable. Great work life balance if you get the right manager. Never missed a bonus even through the downturn. They sell to their existing customers very well. Still a family business after all these years.

Cons

The good-hearted management is completely out of touch with the staff. Command and control business structure, micro management and seniority rule. A lot of people cashing checks just waiting to retire.

Pros

Continue to make good money for family.

Cons

Tightly held. Conservative. Too much politics at the top. Either in the click or not. Say desire for innovation, but continue to go down conservative path.
