Seemed Promising, Until I Was Laid Off

Pros

The people I worked with were great, and the company respects and values a work/life balance. Benefits were exceptional, and I had no complaints about my salary.

Cons

Massive layoffs occurred very sudden, even amongst C-level execs. I was initially told my job was safe but was eventually let go right before the Holidays. It just seemed like whatever direction they were headed in was not fully agreed upon amongst the decision makers.

Upper management is lost in favoring who they like and treat everyone else like garbage. They all talk about people behind their backs.
