      You don’t want to work here

      Cons

      OSF doesn’t care about their employees health. I was put on a level for calling in to many time because I have actual health problems and there are days that I’m too sick to come into work. I was at work today and threw up, I didn’t go home because it would be counted against me. That is not right to treat your employees that way. And that is definitely not The Mission Partners way. I will make sure this gets out to every news media.

      Benefits are excellent and you can really find some great people to work with

      Cons

      Be prepared to be micromanaged. Autonomy isn’t really their style. The culture isn’t what it used to be.

      Pros

      Strong emphasis on mission of the company. They are very focused on talking about the history and tradition of their catholic heritage and how that shapes their current institutional and staff choices. They try to encourage a positive attitude at all times, and focus on a positive experience for all their patients.

      Cons

      Their management structure is slow to respond to change, and frequently makes across the board, top-down decisions. They take a bare minimum approach to staffing and expect alot of unpaid 40+ hour weeks, and voluntary overtime. They frequently ask for donations to their not-for profit branch,but minimal real-world results. For example asked for donations to add a chapel onto a facility but never built it.
