Pros

They are willing pay to considerably above market rate

Cons

Easily the worst CEO I have ever come across Hire and fire approach means you are never guaranteed to see the next day, and you see your colleagues dropping like flies. Micromanagement.

Pros

As a TAM you're recognized as being part of a top tier, trusted team to deliver real outcomes for our customers. We're the A-team for a maturing start-up with an active ear to the ground across both customers and internal teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing). Folks trust our input, and we put in the work to make actual change in the product based on customer feedback and working internally cross-teams.

Cons

Because we're the go-to team for all things Customer Success and Technical SMEs, it's a TON of work. We care a lot and put in extra hours no one asks for but we know we need to succeed. This is not a coasting position. You will put in the hours to make sure you and your customers win. It's still a startup and you have to remember that. The reward? Recognition and career advancement.

Pros

Obsidian has continuously evolved and delivered value to its customers from its legacy in SSPM to now SaaS and AI security. Some of the world's most complex and technologically-matured companies have chosen Obsidian to help them secure their SaaS and now AI deployments. Hasan, the CEO has had a tough job transforming this company and making it relevant and profitable. When you have a daunting challenge of turning a company around, doubling down on revenue year-over-year and making yourself extremely relevant to your customer base, you have to make tough decisions which means you will not be always likable. Hasan has the company's best interest at heart and his customer-obsession translates into the company's culture and how we build and sell security solutions to world's biggest banks, telecom providers, manufacturing and social media giants. Good place if you are driven by outcomes and want to move fast to deliver value.

Cons

With any startup that is now growing into a bigger company, a certain level of planning and process becomes critical to success and this needs to be prioritized.
