Pros

The company shop is alright

Cons

The engineering department seems to have a bit of a gang problem. The engineers and engineering management seem to resemble those gangs of bullies that you used to encounter in the school playground, who would snigger and make fun of you as you walked past, and laugh at you behind your back. They don't have the slightest shred of respect for people outside of their little "circles" and the Engineering managers are extremely un-approachable and blunt. This i can say for all 4 of them. It's not just a problem with one of them thinking it's alright to bully, it's all of them.

Pros

Decent customers but that’s it

Cons

-Rude manager -If you take a sick day within the first 12 weeks (probation period), they will use it against you at the 12 week review, even if you needed it -Penalise you for being late to a delivery even if there’s traffic -for some houses, you will have no choice but to park far away and carry all of the shopping. You also get many flats with no lift -workload will be easy at first but they will increase your work load so much that you won’t have time to eat your lunch - shift patterns will affect your sleep. One week I was working pm shifts and sleeping at 2am, and 2 days later I was expected to be at work at 5am. So I had to go from sleeping at 2am to sleeping at 8pm in the space of 2 days which is very unrealistic. -you have to check every inch of the van for damage before you leave. If you miss something, expect to be blamed for it You go through so much and receive shocking pay in return Other drivers seem decent but the job is not worth it. Only do this job as a last resort
