Pros

The employees that got and continue to get the job done despite Senior Leadership

Cons

Senior Leadership. And proof just shown with the firing of the CEO for harassment, which prevailed in so many subtle ways throughout the leadership team.

Pros

- Amazing benefits - 401k match -Nice offices

Cons

If Ocean Spray were publicly traded, its stock would be tanking. All of the random downsizing moves and outsourcing of jobs in the past few months has provided no clear benefit. All the disruption would be heavily scrutinized in wall street. The board is oblivious of how the environment has changed from amazing to a toxic hostile place that makes you feel uncomfortable, unappreciated, or undervalued. There is high level aspirations during town hall meetings... a lot of talk the talk but no walk the walk. A lot of times, leadership themselves don't know how to walk the walk. A lighthouse is needed indeed.

Thank you for commenting, but your view of our change and business approach is unfortunate and inaccurate. “Random” or “no clear benefit” could not be further from our what our cooperative’s transformation is all about—it is strategic, aimed at future growth, and a long-term plan to ensure our farmer-owners see the returns they deserve. And its working. A lighthouse is a beacon, and our Lighthouse Office will be our Innovation hub, one of the key pillars to our success. We’re excited and ready for the future.

Let's Talk or Not Talk

Pros

Farmer owned which gives job more purpose by helping generation of family farms preserve their livelihood

Cons

Morale and communication at all time low s- holding "Let's Talk" session but not letting employees talk is counter-productive. Also not productive is terminating 75% of the Marketing Directors and keeping only the "yes" people and backfilling Marketing roles with R&D Managers.

Thanks for commenting. You are right that Connecting Farms to Families for a Better Life is not a strategy. It’s a purpose—a North Star that guides our long-term strategy to transform, succeed and most importantly grow for our farmer-owners. We’re already seeing positive results thanks to all of our colleagues, who bring diverse perspectives and ideas, executing on that strategy with passion and pride every day. Also, we are loving our Town Hall conversation, and the new Let’s Talk discussions. These have become great spaces for colleagues to ask questions, hear right from leadership and get the latest business updates and wins.
