Worst job I have ever had

Discount 30% but almost everything is junk , products are items others can’t sell so they buy it and sell it.Most food is short dated .

Cons

Overworked, owner Marc Perlman is delusional. As an assistant store manager I worked freight 10 hours a day . If not working freight ringing at register.Company Moto we get more done with less. Work you to death . Holidays you work 6 /10 hour days . Only get 30 minute lunch. Require you to punch as a salary manager to micromanage .Turn over 100+%. Only associates who stay are worthless and lazy.

Free lunch on Fridays, great staff members both in stores, DC and corporate professionals, great corporate location, senior leadership is truly passionate about company growth

Cons

Compensation way below the State Average, high education requirements for professional positions with no compensation to match, understaffing in professional departments, lacking leadership, no 401k Match, no tuition reimbursement programs, no career investment, so much company growth that the corporate professional departments that support the employees are forgotten about

Up and coming retailer.

Cons

Overworked, not enough employees to complete tasks, corporate employees are catered too while the worker bee's in the stores are forgotten, Stores are on video review 24/7. Check list after checklist after checklist. Men are treated better than woman hands down. Good guy's/ladies always finish LAST.
