      Pros

      I will always miss the people I work with minus management.

      Cons

      Seems to be the same every time someone get promoted at Ochsner. It's not what they know, but who they know. Management is nothing but a bunch of "yes-man" running around. The benefits and insurance for full-time/part-time employees is less than worth it. The premium is expensive and the medical coverage is hardly to cheer about.

      I love my coworkers, that's the ONLY thing I will miss

      The pay is extremely low for the kind of work their expecting. Management is not professional.Ihave witnessed some employees disrespected by people in higher positions. Orientation was promised but not followed through. Glad I found work elsewhere

      Great stable employer, good benefits, nice people

      Cons

      employee salaries are below market, especially given the hours of work that are expected (except for the very highest executives); Raises that are anything more than a cost-of-living adjustment are rare, except at the executive level. Even though work-life balance is verbally encouraged, work-life balance is only really acceptable for low-level employees.
