Pros

Lots of units and opportunities to change/experience different specialities

Cons

So short-staffed but instead the hospital just continues to expand and open more beds. They do not act or show that they care for their staff, they pretend to listen to concerns but takes ages to respond with solutions or plan for improving. They do not enforce rules or discipline and they put way too much responsibilities and task requirements on the nurses

Pros

Some of the doctors are really nice people.

Cons

If they don't pull you into the "click", they will search for ways to fire you. I won't advise anyone to work at Ochsner Jefferson Highway. I have heard that other locations are better.

Pros

Large health system with lots of different RN positions.

Cons

Extremely poor RN staffing at main campus. Salary’s are not competitive, despite what the administration tries to sell as “competitive”.
