Pros

There are some good employees that want to follow the correct procedures, appreciate constructive criticism and have a growth plan. For some, OPI isn't just a job, they really want to save lives on the front and back end.

Cons

The other side of the coin is complacent employees who are there just for a check. They don't care about putting donors at risk by performing tasks incorrectly. When the information is reported, a blind eye is turned or slap on the hand. Compliance should be at the forefront but seem to be going through the motions. No one has a passion for what they do! Those that do, have no place there!

Pros

Some awesome co workers Give second chances to people with criminal records

Cons

-too many workers taking extended and unassign breaks and nothing will happen to them -low pay -sporadic scheduling...work till closed (i.e. leave when the last donor leaves(sometimes at 11pm)) then open in the next day at 5am -low pay -only cares if you are doing your job when either corporate or auditors are in the building -dirty majority of times -under staff -managers are often times clueless -do not allow overtime

Pros

I've seen many people start at the bottom and become Quality Supervisors or Center Directors. The pay from Quality Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and above is good.

Cons

The training and QA programs need a lot of work. They teach you to be functionally good in Quality, but nothing more. The pay from Quality Technician and below is often below average, depending on the state you live in. I've seen many people get promoted who were severely flawed, but the company had no other options. They spent so much resources opening new centers, that older centers don't get the attention they require. Over time you realize quality is often just there to pass audits; production comes first. Plasma can be a dirty business.
