Pros

There is some room for Growth in terms of if you plan to make a career out of this job, working full-time is only available for management.

Cons

Majority of the time, additional work or taking on additional responsibilities even as a senior employee is not recognized. Going the extra mile goes unrecognized by management, especially the General Store Manager and is only briefly mentioned during a yearly review in which the maximum raise is 3% of hourly pay. There is a lot more expected of you as an employee even working part-time, front end employees are expected to upsell on warranty on all tech items (even mouse and keyboards, headphones), upsell paper, ink and toner on printers. There is also a lot of pressure for rewards sign-ups from Copy&Print Dept. which is always the busiest department, upsell on paper upgrades, additional services such as cutting, binding, hole punching, etc. There is also a lot of pressure for sign ups for subscription services such as Business Select which can be somewhat beneficial for businesses in long-term. There is also a lot of unspoken pressure for catering to regular customers over new incoming customers.
