Pros
If you're comfortable talking to customers or want to be comfortable to do so, this is the perfect place to work at. I can assume that every store has a clear goal in mind which is nice to have something to aim for every day. It feels good that you have something to work for or towards to or get better at. I have good coworkers. Boss is nice and he gets along well with pretty much everyone.
Cons
They trained me a little and let me go on my own two shoes. You have to keep asking questions to learn. Not really a con, might be for others though. The goal I mentioned on the pro section, yeah sometimes they push that too hard when matters aren't even controllable to begin with. Some customers get tired of it. Cash registers are quite slow and might crash from time to time. Expect customers to be impatient and moody along with your sales pitch/upselling. There will be times when there will not be much people to go around and you will have to balance several things at once.
