Pros

The company has rich history and tradition. It's nice to work for a company created by a legend. The teachings of David Ogilvy are instilled in everything we do, and our philosophies today reflect those of his years ago. In addition to having such a rich heritage, Ogilvy provides a huge opportunity for growth, as there are so many diverse accounts to work on, as well as so many different departments to work in. As one of the largest agencies in the city, I have so much opportunity to grow within my career path - or even switch paths, all while staying within the company.

Cons

We haven't won enough new business in the past year or two to keep us stable. We've had significant layoffs already in 2009, and I foresee the economy playing a huge role in the health of our company moving forward. Budgets are being slashed left and right, and fewer people are left to do more work for less money.
