      Pros

      GREAT pay compared to what I was making prior to working for OhioHealth. Great coworkers! The ER team really works well together. Felt that they valued patient safety and it was the safest I felt practicing as a bedside nurse thanks to their policies and procedures with medications, pediatric meds, blood transfusions and how quickly security responded to the ER when called upon. Would like to work for OhioHealth again someday in the future. Just not the Union hospital which is the only one close to me.

      Cons

      The hospital I was at was a Union and my schedule was not consistent due to being low man on the totem pole. Worked 7P-7A and they would expect you to turn around and work 9A-9P the following day and then back to 7P-7A within the same week. ED Manager was a micromanager and always told you what you were doing wrong or how you could improve, and rarely praised you for the good you did. Busy ER difficult to make time for lunch. Felt like the entire 12 hour shift was a full sprint most days.
