There are so many cons to list: misrepresentation of workload and expectations and low pay when one a calculates the actual hours contributed; passive aggressive (even threatening in one instance) emails from upper management for things that could have been an honest mistake from another employee (whom we were rewarded if we identified); expectation to always be available to respond to emails immediately (strange for a contract position); delayed compensation (three months, when contract states one month) led to decreased motivation; changing expectations that aren’t stated in templates; dumbing, or watering down, of important content; inconsistent terminology (Using the template’s language in your own writing is inappropriate due to DEI reasons, but there was no attempt to fix the prompts)
