      Amazing company and team to work for!

      Pros

      Everyone at OkCupid is friends with each other. We all eat lunch together and get to know each other, and as a result all work well together. The hours are flexible and not at all demanding.

      Cons

      Aside from the unlimited supply of soda, the only intimidating factor at OkCupid can be the late hours that some people work. No one works extremely long hours, but those who come in late stay late, and as someone who tends to work early it can feel weird to leave so early, but the team is more than okay with it as long as I'm meeting my goals and deadlines.

      *Work with incredibly smart people who are fun and care about the product *Everyone, no matter level or team, can have their opinion/voice be heard *Fast-paced environment means getting to really see the product grow and your efforts make a difference *Awesome perks like daily meals and frequent happy hours

      *Lots of use of Slack, which is great most of the time but can lead to things getting lost in the shuffle

      Pros

      Really great company : I have been relocated from France last year, the company really helped a lot with the move. When I arrived, everybody welcomed me as a part of the family (yes, OkCupid is a small company, everybody knows everybody) The overall ambiance is really nice : free lunch, lots of happy hours, video games. OkCupid is a group of very smart people, they really care about their users and really try to do the best they can so that people find love.

      Cons

      The only thing I can say is that if you're used to work in big companies with a lot a process, it might be a bit complicated for you to work at OkCupid. The company is still working as a startup which can be adapted to some people but could largely confuse others
