      Pros

      Great product, smart people, cool office space and perks (when offices are back to in-person). Leadership that have been here a long time built a good culture, which still exists in pockets.

      Cons

      Rapidly changing for the worse. I'm not even sure what the culture is anymore, but do know that it's not good. Too much change too quickly has led to people feeling lost and disconnected. Leadership is spinning, intolerant and trigger happy. I've seen many very smart and talented colleagues quit, when they could have been retained if leadership was more clued in to what's happening at the employee level.

      Pros

      The space is interesting and customers typically struggle with IAM solutions. Okta has a nice platform to handle SaaS based IAM for cloud apps.

      Cons

      Okta flooded the field sales force. Revenue expectations were unreasonable. Contracting issues with certain verticals (Healthcare). The product had limitations with broad scale deployments.

      Nice office. Modernized floors and solid view of the city.

      Cons

      - Prepare to get thrown into an office setting where questions aren't welcomed, and you're in your own island. - Everybody kept to themselves and didn't embrace a "team culture" mindset - When asking people around for more product knowledge, you'd get brushed to the side or would have eyes staring at you sideways as if you're a neanderthal - Doesn't help that it would take 2-3 months to get access to all the sales tools - Good luck trying to get promoted internally from xDR into a closing role. Absolute dogfight with a 6-month lockout of consistently hitting quota - Accounts are hot garbage. MSFT will one-day overtake this IAM space. Doesn't help that Okta got popped twice in one calendar year. Pretty pathetic, right? - Salary is way under market
