Pros

Transparency in direction, Profesional atmosphere, Team approach, Respect of customers, not to mention you work with a product that just works. Okta is "always on". No dancing shoes required.

Cons

You need to work hard as there are many moving parts inherent in identity. It's not undoable or an impossible work load... it's just challenging, that said in my opinion "In the end, it's rewarding to see your plan come together.". 3 stars because there is a extended time commitment.

As an Always On company each action and task is focused on how to best achieve the goal of being the iconic Identity and Access Management for all companies worldwide. Our culture promotes hard work and having fun. Getting your job done might just include a quick game of ping pong! Since we hire the best and trust them, the potential for growth and advancement are the best I have ever seen and/or experienced. If you want to work for a company where not only is your contribution going to make a difference, it is always recognized and rewarded, Okta is that Best in Class place.

Should have got onboard the first time my colleague asked me to join instead of waiting a year and missing out on adding value sooner.

Pros

i started with Okta nearly 2 years ago now after a number of IAM start-up/Hyper growth US companies, Okta has proved to be challenging but in the right ways, the people are great the company wants to do the best thing for its customers and its employees. compensation packages are on average or slightly higher than the market offerings for the UK for me the best Pro is that the company wants you to have passion about what you do and what we offer to our customers as a solution, everybody is heard and can have a say which is great and the correct thing to do in a ever expanding company.

Cons

you have to be able to be self sufficient if you are looking for a company to put your feet up and work 9 - 5 this is not the place for you but i see that as a Pro Okta can seem disconnected and disjointed at times between the departments and to people who are used to large companies this would be a con but it is growing pains of a fast growing hight tech company
