Flexible work hours Telecommuting is really an option (for my job) Family friendly Can attend events on campus your schedule permits Benefits are good You are a state employee

You are a state employee (in regards to salary and the ongoing negative perception that we don't do a thing).

Fun place to work - little to no advancement opportunities

Pros

Fast paced environment. Young, energetic atmosphere Flexible work hours - and telecommuting is offered(even encouraged) Family friendly - getting time off is rarely a problem Benefits are decent - state employment

Cons

The salary you're hired with is where you stay - understand this - the yearly performance review is basically an exercise in futility - IT HAS NO IMPACT ON PAY. Unfortunately, this means people tend to leave after a certain amount of time, and that corporate knowledge follows them out the door.

Pros

The University is a great place to work. The people are friendly, the organization is constantly trying to improve and they "CARE" about their clients and their staff!

Cons

The pay should be better.
