Truly Amazing Company - Fast growing and likely to remain a power house for many years to come
Pros
The best company that I have ever worked for (thus far). Truly broke my heart to resign and move on. Senior Management is forward thinking, they seem to genuinely care for their employees, and they want to be one of the best players in the industry (they IMO are already a top player in the industry). Technology is great, Talent is top tier, Support staff is great, Culture is solid, employees are engaged, training for junior talent seems to be world class, people are overall nice considering the stressful nature of business, and senior management is approachable/engaged with the business.
Cons
Wish they had more longer term compensation incentives for employees (i.e. carried interest, reinvestment into the fund w/o management fees, alternative compensation payment methods such as K1 or LLC formation to help employees legally reduce their tax liabilities, etc.). Employees are paid well and therefore get clobbered on taxes, so it would be great if they had some way to help employees legally reduce their very high tax burdens, especially for those living in extremely high cost of living overseas regions with very complex tax situations. They need to find ways to provide more golden handcuffs to their employees, especially those that they truly like and are critical to longer term growth (wish i was one of those employees).
