Good exposure to different quality projects

Cons

Assign tasks based on types of interns who are going back to school vs who are looking for a job afterward. Balance the amount of graphic works and architectural related tasks to help learn.

Pros

Great experience immersing into the organization but not the experience I would have imagined for such a well established, large upscale firm. Wonderful work produced as well as opportunity to engage. Overall, talented individuals, strong personalities, and always something new to learn. Most are willing to help. There is always someone with the right answer within the firm, don't be afraid to ask lots of critical questions.

Cons

Not all employees convey the professional and respectful standards the company prides itself on. More project focused than employee focused (very disconnected and impersonal to new hires). Have to work your way up the chain, not always a team atmosphere at times, need to adapt at a fast rate. Be local to work there to be as flexible to to them, flexibility is limited to employees work-life balance.

Project types, quality of work, work culture, people, great events, great lecture series and weekly internal project critique, very collaborative environment, experimental

Cons

Work/life balance, long hours, pay, entitled, isolates itself from other architectural professionals in the city, no incentive for licensure, short staffed projects
