Pros

Remote work and flexible hours

Cons

Flex model with inconsistent pay for coaches - Since November of 2024, coaches have only received 1 week with a full 40 hours worth of pay. Career growth opportunities are incredibly limited, you're more likely to receive a promotion if you leave the company and return years later... Omada loves to hire "boomerangs" rather than promote from within. Health Coaching scope and job responsibilities have evolved into a "jack of all trades" leaving most coaches feeling burnt out and dissatisfied with their role. The job feels less like "coaching" and more of a "glorified customer service representative" - The overall coaching experience has taken a steep decline in recent years as a result of GLP1s flooding the market. Education and experience are not considered for compensation. Starting wage is laughable, and raises are mediocre.

Pros

Great opportunity Great Pay Good hours Interesting Job Friendly people

Cons

The training wasn't long enough it seemed rushed through. Also, more time was needed for completing training videos and tests because there are a ton of them. I loved the job and was getting it down, but I needed more time to be comfortable with addressing issues correctly on phone calls. Unfortunately, I had to resign when they turned us loose on phone calls. I just wasn't quite there yet.

Pros

- Decent work life balance relative to comp package - Mostly remote

Cons

- Pure bureaucracy, highly political - Overly frequent on-sites in an attempt to force productivity - Upper layers are yes people that do not push back when they should, resulting in disappointment and thrash - Fairly flat footed engineering organization - AI is taking over, but the approach is not following best practices in industry
