      "Ripped from the Headlines" In a good way

      Pros

      The jobs we do at Omada are interesting everyday. They are ripped from the headlines of digital health. Want to dig into whether software is a device per FDA rules or clinical decision support? Work here. Want to engineer automated data destruction for privacy compliance, join our engineering team. Want to sell virtual first healthcare services to health plans that are ossified in their approach to health care (there's a challenge!) join our sales team. Not for the faint of heart, but at the bleeding edge of changing healthcare.

      Cons

      Omada is a modest company. There's not overt bragging and flash as you might find in other digital health companies. If you want flashy, this is not the place.

      Pros

      Fun work environment and coworkers are great. Flexible hours are amazing.

      Cons

      Unfocused leadership. Roles not really defined. At one point my manager told me that they didn’t know what my role was exactly. There is also a strong lack of communication.

      Forward thinking, studies to back up claims, good foundation, promising future in this field, bright developers that know what they are doing

      Cons

      Pay is under company standards in this field, not a lot of respect for coaches, viewed as not as important as HQ employees, disconnection between HQ and remote coaches
