Thank you for your candid feedback. We’re very proud that we’re able to operate from a position of strength with stable funding and a clear roadmap to our next stage of growth. We're confident in the path ahead as we continue to drive towards our goals of changing healthcare. One of our many values that we take pride in is 'Start with Trust'. As we work towards the path ahead we continue to invest in the development of our Omadans around values such as these in order to provide great leadership and growth opportunities throughout the organization. This year alone has brought the launch of Omada Learn as well as leadership mentor programs throughout the organization. These are just a few of the tools that we are utilizing as we continue to strive to strengthen team bonds as we take on the challenging yet rewarding work of improving member lives.

The truth

Pros

Mission driven, camaraderie, employees actually really get along, talented group, inspiring yet complex work with real opportunities and problems to solve, one of the most successfully scaled digital health companies out there. Any other digital health company (with exception to one other) is smaller by a wide margin, at a stage Omada was at years ago, etc. Experience hyper growth.

Cons

Pioneering a level and scale of virtual care that others have not is hard work. It's also fatiguing at times but exhilarating because the impact is real. Having successfully enrolled and helped more than half a million people doesn't come without lots of work. Scaling inherently comes with a more complex org. Takes more time to align folks. Not a place for faint hearted (not a con), but Omada is on a mission and doesn't suffer fools.

Pros

• Fantastic mission, and traction in the market to make it a reality • Exciting 3 yr vision: lots to do, and we're getting laser focused on priorities and hiring to add capacity so teams don't burn out • Rigorous focus on members' health outcomes and operating as a healthcare provider vs a wellness platform • Humble, dedicated, and intelligent leaders and coworkers • Great cross-functional relationships between clinical and prod/dev teams • Unlimited PTO and monthly wellness days that people actually use! • No meeting Wednesday afternoons • Growing fast, ability to advance • Remote first, can work from anywhere and there's also office space in SF for collaboration and ad hoc use • Generous home office stipend and phone/internet reimbursement • Prof/dev time carved out of every week for eng team self-directed learning and development

Cons

• Complex business model with more stakeholders to manage/consider than traditional (non-healthcare) consumer products company • We currently have a lot of exciting market opportunities and too little capacity to deliver -- we're laser-focused on hiring to capitalize on opportunities • Easy to work long hours in a remote-first company. It is possible to set boundaries and keep the hours manageable but it takes being proactive and unapologetic about your own calendar.
