Pros

- Incredible learning culture - management is focussed on developing you from a professional standpoint and colleagues are willing to share their knowledge to help you get better also. The company also provides a sizeable budget for learning materials/courses etc for you to use as you want to. - From a sales perspective, you are working with an interesting product that is genuinely one of the premium options in the market. There's lots to learn and lots to talk about so conversations with prospects never feel the same - keeps the day to day very interesting. - The company dedicates resources to make sure you enjoy coming into work - it's a cool, quirky office space in the middle of shoreditch, and they regularly do little things in the office (pancake day, friday drinks, lunches etc) as well as monthly company socials. - The company cares massively about the people they let in the door and hire on ability just as much as they do on their values, this means the people at the company are exceptional at what they do but also genuine, very good to work with and easy to get along with. In my time there, i did not hear of many situations of fallout between staff members if there was any at all.

Cons

Although the product is great, it is an essential product for online retails so a very competitive market - can make a sale difficult/lengthy so if you are looking for a quick, transactional sale it may not be the place for you.

Pros

Free breakfast. But don't eat too much because people will pick up on it!

Cons

Pretend to be very liberal, fun, friendly environment. Say they offer tonnes of support if targets are missed, but actually don't.

Pros

Some nice people, OK office, free snacks

Cons

Nobody in the sales team reaches their targets and are cannibalising on each other due to too little demand from a highly saturated market coupled with too few accounts. A few favourites get all the strong leads and are then given as examples of “look at x, you can be that if you work harder’. Salary slightly below market rate. A LOT of talk about culture but it’s a facade to make people think they’re part of something special worth sacrificing your most valuable years for. The company values are being rambled at all times like a mantra : Team over self - you’re expected to give up your wellbeing and personal life for the growth of the company (the “team”). Relentless in the pursuit of mastery - you’re never good enough in the eyes of management. Self-aware- if you criticise any of the bad practices put in place from the top you’ll be told that you’re not self- reflective enough. (if you’re mentioning anything positive on the other hand you’ll be applauded and probably asked to give a small talk on the next all-hands). It’s awesome to be here - the fact that they have to tell you that says it all. The CEO has written a blog post how the company is a cult (definition of cult leader: Cult groups often have a dynamic leader whose authority is respected and, in many cases, unquestioned. Obedience to the leader is often required, even when it involves deviant or unhealthy activity.).
