I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the unprofessional hiring process I experienced for the Engineering Manager position in Bangalore. Despite successfully clearing five rounds of interviews and being led to believe that an offer was forthcoming, I was met with an abrupt and unjustified withdrawal of the opportunity.
The following issues raise serious concerns about Omnicell’s hiring ethics and professionalism:
Sudden Rejection for Requesting Formal Communication: It is standard and reasonable for a candidate to request official confirmation of the offer in writing. Rejecting my candidacy merely for asking that the offer amount be formally communicated via email, rather than verbally, is highly unprofessional.
Offer Withdrawal at the Last Minute: After clearing four rounds and being shortlisted, I was under the impression that the process was nearing completion. Withdrawing the offer without any prior indication or valid reasoning wasted my time and effort.
Unethical Handling of Personal Documents: Your team collected my personal documents under the pretense of processing an offer letter, yet no offer was issued. This is not only misleading but also raises concerns regarding how candidate information is handled.
Lack of Communication and Unprofessional Behavior: Despite multiple attempts to seek clarification, my emails and calls were ignored, and I was even blocked from contacting your team. This level of disregard for professional courtesy is deeply concerning.
Candidates invest significant time and effort in recruitment processes, and they deserve transparency, professionalism, and ethical treatment. Such hiring practices can severely damage Omnicell’s reputation in the industry. I strongly urge you to reflect on these concerns and take corrective action to ensure fair and professional recruitment practices.
