PowerPoints more valued than actual contribution
Pros
Core products are solid and well respected in industry.
Cons
Used to be a great tech company but is now driven to ground by clueless MBAs and PowerPoint experts. New culture rewards PowerPoint expertise and not your engineering skills. You can thrive and receive promotion if you use lot of buzzwords copy pasted from LinkedIn and put them in sleek PowerPoint presentations. New product leadership is legendary in their own minds and not open to new ideas or constructive feedback. COO openly insults people who built this company and is stuffing organization with his cronies at VP levels and beyond. Talks big on change and strategy but does not take accountability for millions spent on pet projects poorly received by customers. Join this company if you are an expert in creating PowerPoint slides and mockups and thrive on elaborate presentations instead of doing some real work.
