      Pros

      Coming out of a very difficult time in healthcare post global pandemic, Omnicell has reenergized in 2024 with new senior leadership and has started to innovate again! There are so many exciting new projects to be apart of! I don't feel stuck in a rut. I feel excitement about coming to work and the future of this company. Additionally, I feel very supported by my director and our VP. I feel encouraged to share my ideas and thoughts and empowered to get involved with cross functional initiatives.

      Cons

      Sometimes people have a difficult time with change (as you can experience with any company), which creates roadblocks or hurdles. People who have fallen into the pandemic times mindset of 'shelter in place' and 'just get the job done' don't seem to be willing to progress forward. Thankfully, the senior leadership seems to be addressing that stubborn, stale mindset by celebrating the progress of those teams that are working towards the priorities.

      Pros

      I'm not micromanaged; a very inclusive environment and culture is being established; I have the freedom to make decisions at sites to meet the needs of the customer(s); I get constructive criticisms to make me better in my role.

      Cons

      Identification of the roles and responsibilities of the various areas is still a work in progress; travel is not estimated correctly in the job descriptions; internal support is dependent on the manager you have--some are better than others.
