Thanks for sharing feedback with us. We are working with people managers globally on improving team culture, recognition, feedback skills, and more. Communication is a top priority for us, and we’d love to hear more details about your experience and what you feel is lacking (you’ll find the internal communications email at the bottom of every Wednesday #InsideOmnicell email to share feedback with that team).

Pros

Omnicell is going through an exciting transformation, providing numerous opportunities to work on diverse projects and tackle various challenges. The company genuinely respects work-life balance, which is a huge plus for personal well-being. Colleagues are a pleasure to work with, creating a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Cons

While many changes are positive and for good reasons, sometimes it feels like changes are made just for the sake of it. Decisions about changes often seem to be made by teams that are detached from the daily operations and employees on the ground.

We appreciate you sharing your perspective. We agree that there are many exciting opportunities at this pivotal moment for our company and are glad to have you on the team helping make them happen. At the same time, we really appreciate your notes on when change may feel disconnected, and we’ll continue to work on better communication about why change is happening, as well as cross-functional collaboration to keep change connected to the greater team purpose.

Pros

1. Remote Work Flexibility: I absolutely love the flexibility of working remotely. It allows me to have a great work-life balance, and I can be productive in a comfortable environment that suits me best. 2. Supportive and Collaborative Relationships: The relationships I've built here are amazing and will last a lifetime. Everyone is incredibly supportive, and there's a real sense of collaboration and teamwork that makes working here a joy. 3. Job Satisfaction and Fulfillment: Being a corporate recruiter at Omnicell is even more rewarding than I ever expected. Helping others find their career paths in the field of pharmacy is incredibly fulfilling. Knowing that I’m making a positive impact on people's health in the process keeps me motivated every day to find the best candidates for every position I fill.

Cons

1. Limited Face-to-Face Interaction: While remote work offers great flexibility, it can sometimes feel isolating not having regular in-person interactions with colleagues. Virtual meetings are great, but they can't fully replace the spontaneous conversations and camaraderie of an office environment. 2. Communication Challenges: Working remotely can sometimes lead to communication delays or misunderstandings. It's important to stay proactive and ensure clear and timely communication to keep everyone on the same page. 3. Balancing Boundaries: When working from home, it can be challenging to maintain a clear boundary between work and personal life. It requires discipline to avoid overworking and ensure a healthy balance.

Thank you for leaving this detailed review and we’re really happy to know you’re enjoying flexibility, great relationships, and fulfillment with your role here at Omnicell. You have also done a great job of outlining the overarching challenges of this era of adjusting to remote work… we’re all still figuring out the best way to avoid isolation, improve communication and ensure healthy boundaries. We encourage you to share any ideas you have to improve upon remote work culture with HR (you’ll find our email under People Organization in OmniHub) or reach out to your team’s People Strategist.
