Pros

Super smart team with varied experience. A start-up environment with the opportunity to personally contribute and make a difference every day. Well-backed, focused on the right opportunities vs just chasing down funding. Happy hours, flexible work environment.

Cons

If you don't do well with constant movement and change, it's not the place for you.

Bad decision making is the hallmark of management

Really cool company, doing really important and fulfillinh work!

Cons

Management is known for making bad decisions, even on the CEO's part, he's very quick to make decisions without thinking them through and the man he hired to help reign him in has also made some questionable decisions. They can't keep an HR team to save their life, and have decided to push social justice policies that have more negative impact on the culture than positive. I had fun at first but it faded quickly.

Thank you for your feedback. In 2020, Onduo hired a new CEO and along with that transition and a number of other key hires, we have set the stage to bring the organization into an expansion mode. We appreciate the experience you shared and believe that many of the new programs implemented in late 2020 and into early 2021 will allow the organization to focus on creating a more positive employee culture. Terrible vice presidents, worse managers

Your choice of computer, mission-driven

Cons

People in leadership roles from VPs to managers are controlling micro managers. HR has mile long files with complaints on every manager, pretends to want to help, but ultimate is there to protect the company and it's leaders. Sure, you work "with Verily," but you won't get any of Verily's perks, especially not salary.

We appreciate that your experience with leadership was not a positive one, and we believe that many of the changes that we have made -- including new leadership and training programs for new and existing leaders -- will help Onduo continue to improve in making its workplace a good place for its employees. Onduo is a Verily subsidiary, and as of 2021, Onduo employees are now eligible for all Verily benefits.
