Pros

Semi-remote work, generous PTO, some nice co-workers

Cons

The culture is toxic and backstabby. New CEO and lots of layoffs. Never ending reorganization and shifting goals and expectations. The benefits are awful and expensive.

Waited One Week

Pros

None. I waited one week before I wrote a review of any sort so my emotions would be clear. However, there are some jobs that it takes longer, if ever, to get over how much they hurt you.

Cons

I came from a large health insurance company that laid me off in January. When I read One Call's employment requirements I thought it was perfect. For those who come from physicians offices and health insurance companies you know that a CMS 1500 is a claim form. To One Call, it's a referral. Clinicals are authorization approvals. Records are referrals. I lasted 4 weeks simply because I could not wrap my head around their thinking that to me seems like fraud. The also give you one month to master their "skills" before moving onto the next. If you don't have it down pat before the next one, they fire you. I saved them the trouble.
